Kenan HAKKO
I am a businessman and have lived in Hastings since 2006, holding down various jobs including taxi driver and chef. I now own a family-run bistro, providing jobs and delicious food for local people. I love my community and want to give back to it.
If elected, I will be available for people to turn to if they need support. I am the type of person who always goes the extra mile.
The Labour Party reflects my values in that I believe in taking care of others. I love bringing people together through dance, food and culture. I like creating a place for everyone to enjoy.
I am proud that my two children were born at the Conquest Hospital – it is one of the best assets in our town. I will campaign for all workers at the hospital to get free parking and for safe speed limits on back roads and I will work towards safe cycle access to the hospital and I will stand up for NHS workers who have kept our country going through the pandemic.
