Local Manifesto

For local elections in 2026 Labour are campaigning for positive change to make services better for you and your family. Making sure that the £110m of new funding from the Labour government is spent effectively to tackle the issues that matter most to local people.

This election is for both East Sussex County Council (run by the Conservative Party) and Hastings Borough Council (run by the Green Party).

Labour want to:

Sort out potholes and pavements By changing the repair and inspection process.

Clean up our streets. Name, shame and fine people who fly tip, graffiti and dog foul.

Take back control of our bus service so it reflects the need of our community.

Demand better homes for all by using the Council’s legal powers to enforce standards.
